If you decide to go to Natchez there is a very nice campground on the Louisiana side of Mississippi River (Riverview RV Park) in Vidalia, La. Nice walking path and good view of river. Several casinos there and some good eating places. Enjoy!

No need for hostility Corey. You asked a question. You might not like or agree with the answers. There's no reason to belittle someone just because they have an opinion of their own.

For the same reason I don't use facebook.
I really don't want a lot of personal info on the internet. Sorry but I guess I'm old fashioned.
I am amazed at the info people put on the internet.

I have a 2006 Winnebago Aspect on the Ford E-450 cutaway chassis with the V10 gas engine.
The prior owner's last used 5W20 and this is what is on the cap on the engine. Should I just use this weight or would the fact I live in South Florida, (Ft Lauderdale area), make another weight choice more optimal?
Also, where can I get specs on the amount of oil I will need and the oil filter. Although I have a lot of the manuals, I do not have the Chassis Owner's Manual.
Thanks!
I have a 2008 Winnebago Outlook on a 2007 E-450 Super Duty chassis and I use 5W20 synthetic motor oil. My engine is also the V-10.

I have had very good luck with a product called PROTECT-ALL. I purchased it at Wal-Mart in the RV supplies section. Easy to use and I have always had good results. Try it.

Brett, I could not agree more!! Frances and I took the Alaska Cruise out of Seattle. The inside passage route. What a trip. Like you say, beautiful scenery, wildlife in abundance. Plenty of photo ops. Hope to go back one day and take a different route. Spent a week in Anchorage once on convention. Made several day trips from there.

Paul:
I appreciate the comment. I had not done business with Camping World before except to buy parts and supplies from them when they had a good price. They ran a special on upgrading my manual awning with an electric one at a good price so I thought I'd try them even though they are 50 miles one way from my house. I was told the exchange would take 2 hours so I could wait. It ended up taking 3 days!!! Their attitude toward me as the customer was that I was something they had to put up with and that to talk to me was taking them away from something really important. Luckily I had my wife and my car with me and I told them (after being there since 8 AM with an appointment) that I had to know by 3pm if they could finish that day. I had to be back home not later than 4 and if they could finish in one day my wife could come back home, take care of the business, and I'd wait and drive the motor home. If they couldn't have it ready in one day my wife and I would both come home in the car and come back to pick up the motor home when it was ready. They simply could not or would not give me an answer. I talked to the service manager who promised to help and then refused to speak further with me and passed me down to a subordinate. At 3:30 I was finally told that the work could not be finisihed that day. I learned that they had pulled the tech off of my job and put him on another job.
So, I am now with you. If my motorhome breaks down in their drive way I'll have it towed somewhere else for work.

Man, I am now wondering about Camping World. There is a CW store not too far from my son's home in New Braunfels, TX. I was thinking of having some window awnings installed next trip down, but reading these comments I am not sure I need to get into that.

Shriner's Hospitals for Children offer the best burn care that is available. I am hopeful someone can get the children into the system. God have mercy on all person involved in the fire.

I mounted my NGP antenna on the ladder. Placed the mount so the antenna extends about 18 inches above the roof of the RV. Works fine for me.

Thanks Seajay for getting the ball rolling on this forum. And, thanks FMCA for allowing it. I served in USAF 1964-1968. My youngest son is serving now in USAF...been in a little over 21 years. I appreciate all veterans for their service to our great country. Looking forward to this forum. Happy travels....

Hello hanls31....I am in the same boat you are. I need the same tires you need for my class c. I noticed the xps rib tire was the only one in the program and was just wondering if that is a good replacement for the tires on the motorhome now. Interested to find out...

We stayed at America's Best Campground in Branson a couple of years ago. It was nice, quiet, comfortable and the staff was very accomodating.

Wow!!! What a great video. The photography reminds me of photos out of Texas Highways magazine. Thanks for sharing those excellent photos of God's beautiful garden....

It is my understanding the park was almost completely destroyed by a hurricane last year. Don't know if they are rebuilt and back up and running now or not. Give them a call.....1-888-787-2559. Good luck and happy travels.....Paul

I showed my wife your post and she looked at the link and ordered the sweeper on your recommendation.
She has been wanting to replace the Shark brand cordless she had.
She appreciates your recommendation.
Thanks, and happy traveling.....

My wife and I were at the balloon fiesta a couple of years ago. We stayed at the KOA Central. I sure wish I was there again this year. It was so much fun. Maybe we will make it back that way one year soon. Everyone that is going, have a great time and enjoy the scenery.....Paul

Thanks, Mike and Okiedave. I appreciate the response. I am thinking to go ahead and order the system. I feel better knowing someone actually was satisfied with the company. I happened upon the website accidentally. Could not believe the price. Anyway, thanks again and happy travels to you all...Paul

I am considering purchasing a Blue Ox Patriot supplemental braking system from AdventureRV.net. Their price is much better than the local dealer. I am wondering if anyone has bought from this company before and is willing to share their experience with me. I will be using this system with a Winnebago Outlook 29' class c, Saturn Vue toad, Blue Ox towbar. I appreciate any comments. Happy travels....Paul

We're touring the SE US where's the best fall off the bone natural smoked BBQ?
Ramblinboy.....for ribs try RENDEVOUZ in Memphis (across street from Peabody Hotel in an alley). For the best brisket and pecan cobbler in this world, go to TEXAS PRIDE in the area north of San Antonio area close to Randolph AFB.
Happy travels and good eatin'....

Just put 6 new Michelins on my MH yesterday. I agree with bbnuttman, Michelins are the tire as far as I am concerned.
