  1. Bill was given one of the chairs with the flip up table for his b'day. It was purchased at Gander Mtn. They're a little less expensive there than Camping World. The flip up table is on the right side. Left side has a bag with multi-size pockets for holding 'whatever' he chooses. Very sturdy. Believe it will accommodate 300 lbs.
  2. Hello, all. We are Bill & Judi. Purchased our first coach, 2004 Mandalay, in February. We've camped only a few times so buying this coach was a leap of faith for us. We have friends who have been RVing for a number of years and they were kind enough to let us stay in their coach last year for National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY. It really was fun so I gave in. We're so very grateful for this coach and have enjoyed it already. We leave Thursday for Cleveland, SC for our first rally, a Mandalay Rally. Then back to Lincoln, AL for an FMCA mini Rally. Can't wait. Bill is a consulting engineer and I am a former secretary/admin assistant who now loves to stay home. We have two sons, a daughter-in-love and 3 granddaughters. We're looking forward to traveling in our coach and meeting others who love to travel. Bill & I are bass and soprano, respectively, in a Southern Gospel Quartet named The Majestics. We are looking forward to traveling in our coach to sing everywhere we have an invitation. Lord bless each of you and say 'hey' if we cross paths.
  3. Xplorer, We've just purchased our first motorhome/RV. Bought an 04 Mandalay and the d/n shades need restringing and other minor maintenance. I've thought about ordering blinds. Did you install the blinds yourself or have them installed. Appears to be easy to install them but just want to ask before I tell d/h that's his next labor of love. I enjoy the forum when I remember it.
  4. OK, I remembered where I got the cardboard coasters. Found them at a party city-like store. Had matching napkins, place mats, etc. Hope this helps, too. And, I'm a former Marine's mom. I assure you he does know what a bar looks like inside and so do I. However, I was only in a bar to pass out religious tracts!!!
  5. Try a Dollar Store for the cardboard coasters. Dollar Tree or Everything's a Dollar. They should have some. We use the cardboard coasters but I really don't remember where I bought them. Hope this helps.
