Go to a ''real'' battery shop and ask them. I got my last house and starter batteries at Interstate. The house batteries have a three year full replacement warranty.

Toyos are not on the FMCA discount program....but they are a better, longer lasting tire than Michelin, and way cheaper...regardless of discount.

Good move, the AGMs are great. I would not get Lithiums until they come way way down, and I don't have to figure out how to change my charging system to use them. It seems I recall where they also have a problem if it is real cold or real hot....don't remember.
-
Doing fine. We don't dry camp, so they do fine when on the road.
-
I replaced eight 6 volt AGMs for three 12v AGMs. The 12 volts are a lot lighter also, so I got rid of lots of excess weight.

To answer your question, yes. If you want to move up, my 14 American Eagle 45 T is for sale.
This thread is coming up on being 14 years old.🙃

My wife has a 16 MDX, it is not towable. The best Honda tow vehicle is a '14 and earlier CRV with either FWD or AWD. The 15s and later have the new transmission and can't be towed four down.

It appears our forum is dying a slow death. Most of the old high time, and knowledgeable, posters are gone. I just checked, and as I type this there is only one other person on this forum. I came here from another forum, it's ''currently active users" was 216 members and 10,629 non members on the forum at that time.

If it's been run hard, it could be cooling down.

Try Southern Tire Mart. There are four in Houston.

I do everything you are supposed to do....load the RV, weight the tires cold, compare L and R, use the higher pressure to equalize them...then take that number and add 10% to both tires, or all four when airing the duallies.
-
Any responder will need year, make and model of your RV....most systems are different. If you put that in your signature you won't have to type it in each time you post.
-
The safest way is to run RV anti freeze through the system. Two springs ago, Walmart was having an end of season sale on Prestone RV anti freeze. I bought 15 gallons for $15.

Plugged in to charge the batteries (you don't mention what coach you have, so I don't know about the switch).....inverter off. I never turn my inverter on unless I will be using it.

Even when properly assembled, airing MH tires with the on board air is a PITA. You must start the engine and use high idle off and on in order for the on board system to get enough pressure to air the 22.5" tires, plus it takes a while. I tried it....then opted for the Porter-Cable.

Same here, a Porter-Cable, $100 on sale at Lowes.

Never heard of that. The sealant doesn't know where it is, so get one that will work on what ever you wish to use it.

Lets hope FMCA can expand and inprove the tire program.

Ditto. Michelins are over rated and over priced. I replaced my cracked Michelins with Continentals on the front and Toyos on the back....my tire guy didn't have any Toyos that fit the front.

Garmin has a number of RV GPS models. You put in the dimensions of your RV, including weight, and it will advise you if you are about to encounter a road or bridge that can not accommodate your RV's size or weight.

X3 As you can tell, we tend to apply the KISS principle before spending money.
Agree, that, and look at the easiest repair to try first. You can't beat cheap and easy!😄

Maybe I'm miss reading your question...are you saying the generator is putting out 240 volts?
-
I have an older version of the Porter Cable noted above. Works fine and certainly faster than a 12 volt unit. Mine was on sale for $100.

As noted, these ERS companies use virtually the same companies to provide service. Coach Net, Good Sam, FMCA....take your pick, it's the luck of the draw.

We had an OEM rock guard. Used it for a couple of years and finally took it off. It dragged going in and out of some CGs, and did not do a good job protecting the toad. So I don't have an answer for you, other than trying the ''big brush" idea.
