Maybe I'm miss reading your question...are you saying the generator is putting out 240 volts?
-
I have an older version of the Porter Cable noted above. Works fine and certainly faster than a 12 volt unit. Mine was on sale for $100.

As noted, these ERS companies use virtually the same companies to provide service. Coach Net, Good Sam, FMCA....take your pick, it's the luck of the draw.
-
In my view, the problem is a great many "regulars" no longer post.
-
Most full timers are looking for states with no or lower taxes. I'd look for states with no income tax and go from there.
-
Were you trying to get the FMCA Emergency Road Service or just FMCA? I don't know if just FMCA could help or not. If you were trying to get their ERS, that is a different program, and if you had a paid subscription they would have helped.

Have they been lubed lately? My manual says to lube them monthly or they might stick.

Same here.

I can't see many of us using this 'benefit.' Many Circle K's are in congested traffic areas, their stations are too tight for a MH, have to go inside to prepay....and a 20 gallon limit.

Their "piece of mind rate" is the higher rate with a limited ability to cancel. We have stayed at CL several times over the years. Their rates get higher and the ability to cancel gets lower. In the past three years we have had a break down of five days and a year ago a break down of 21 days. Fortunately our reservations were with CGs that believed me when I called and told them of our delay, and did not hold us to, or require us to pay, for the reservations. I think we're about done with CL. This year's reservations are with a group rally.

Yes, they offer road side assistance/towing, but that's separate and not included with a regular membership.

Try changing your sun glasses. I had the same problem different type lenses fixed it.

My pet peeve with CGs is that now some charge the full amount when you make the reservation. Plus, if you want to be able to cancel, at any time, there is a higher rate, other wise you can't cancel at all. I made a reservation at Catherine's Landing, a very nice CG in Hot Springs, AR, for mid October. My CC was charged the full amount, nearly $500, when I made the reservation. I recently made a trip out west in the toad and made several motel/hotel reservations. I could cancel all if I called 24 hours prior to the day of check in.

An hour 15 is a bit too much enlightenment for me.

jeannejimz, it would help us if you added the information on your MH in your signature, such as make, model, year, etc. That light on my MH has a master switch on the dash, plus an on/off switch on the side of the fixture...as noted above.

Maybe $75 was the rally rate....what a deal!😁
-
AC had a rally at The Ridge in May. Very nice park, but at $75 a bit steep, plus when coming south off I 40 you have to go through town.

They are not engineered for all the bouncing when loaded with something heavy motoring down the road. As for carrying ladders, I have my 6' ladder secured to the ceiling of a pull through basement.

I replaced both chassis and house batteries with what came as OEM....AGMs. At this point, to me, lithiums are not worth the cost or hassle of setting up a new charging system. I'm sure they'll be cheaper and easier to install in the years ahead.

Ditto, put Continentals on the front, Toyo dealer could not find them in the correct size.

As noted above, absorption refers need to be level when parked to operate properly.

I've recently heard there is a good site on Facebook called "Diesel Pushers For Sale

The first thing to check is the seal around the engine access hole in the rear area of the coach. My engine access is a rectangle that is fully tiled, just like the floor, with insulation on the part that serves as the floor and around the edges on the engine side. It fits very snugly and I have no smoke, soot or odor coming from that area.

I would go to a dealer and read the owner's manual of the year/make/model of what you want to tow.

Agree, that, and look at the easiest repair to try first. You can't beat cheap and easy!😄
