We did tour the resort and it s very nice., yes it is very country. We lived 30 miles from there until we moved closer to Tampa. (Wesley Chapel) We met a fellow RV Owner in Nashville that owned a Country Coach and he loved it there. They have a cattle auction and farmers market every week and it draws hundreds of people into this little cow town. There is a restaurant called the Speckled Butter Bean that is as good as Paula Deans in Savannah, GA. Well almost. You are not that far from Orlando, Tampa, Ocala. There is a huge activities building. It is very nice for the $$$$. I hope I have helped you.

We were there last year and had a wonderful time. Our GPS was not updated to Canada. We have Verizon for our phone and tablet service. We incurred roaming charges in the hundreds. I found out that Verizon has a out of country plan. The problem is we would have our phones on wifi but the signal would be weak at times then the phones would automatically go on roaming. Big problem. Loved the French pastry and coffee.

We traveled from Tampa, FL in January 2011 going to Texas, Arizona and Washington, Utah. It was below freezing. We used our propane furnace and turned the engine block heater on and the basement is heated. We also used the furnace while traveling. We did not experience any problems. I put fresh water in the tank and un-hooked the water hose at night. We have a 2001 38' Dutch Star by Newmar with a 330hp Cummins Diesel Engine.

Newmar Motorhomes: Feedback Wanted Before Buying
culpkr replied to RafeCovington's topic in Buying an RV
We purchased a 2001 Newmar Dutch Star with 80k miles on it. We have Cummins 330 HP with a Turbo. It is an awesome coach. We have one slide out which is fine for us. We toured the Newmar factory last summer and their attention to detail is phenomenal. After retiring from Criminal Justice I worked for a friend of mine that has an RV Clearcoat Paint and Body Shop in Tampa, FL I was able to drive many motor homes low and high end models. The Newmar Motor Homes are my Favorite. I talked with a friend of mine that is working in the Motor Home Business for almost 25 years and said that you could give him the top five motor homes made excluding Newmar and said he would trade them all in for a Newmar. I know there are other great motor homes out there but Newmar stands above them all. Ken Culp Tampa. FL Member FMCA
