  1. I don't know of one in the Dallas Fort Worth area that has the equipment, including the machine to true tires by shaving some of the tread off. The place I used, Cowser Tire and Service, 1700 NE Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX has a new computerized machine that seams to do a good job with the big 22.5 tires.

For motorhomes I would recommend all wheel alignment and spin balance on the coach for the fronts as brakes & hubs can be out of balance.

I don't know anyone who has that equipment any more. Tell us who does have the equipment.

I really don't want to buy a Newmar coach, or switch RVs at this point -- The Jayco is longer than I was really hoping for; we want to be able to camp in National Park campgrounds.  A 36+ foot RV really limits you a lot.

That is why you take a toad. So you can park the RV and go explore. I have never not ben able to find a place to stay. Just because you show up in a 36' or less RV doesn't mean you can get in to a camp site in the park.

  4. nowberv, Welcome to the forum. I use to have a Bounder 38N and I would recommend getting a "all wheel aliment" I also only used spin balancing and weights to balance the tires. I was amazed how much the rear axel was out of alignment.

Haven't had much success  in past so don't look at sites in National parks due to size of rig....

I agree, why do I want to stay in a NP at a site that was built by WPA for people to tent camp in with their Model T. Nearly all I have been in are massively unlevel and you are dry camping. For more money than a nice park outside. The only exception is Grand Canyon. They have a nice RV park and the park shuttle bus picks you up at the RV park so you don't have to drive.
