Thanks Byron, Brett and Bill for you post's the coach has been sitting for a month and the air pressure was low so I'm hoping a short drive will fix it .

So, even before taking it in for diagnostics, if you do any of your own work, may be worth pulling each wheel sensor and cleaning it. On the ABS system on our 2003, only tool needed is a pair of pliers.
Thanks Brett ,
What the light says ABS FLT which I assumed it was a filter . Of course you know what Assume means . Maybe one day I'll learn

I would start by checking all the conections. Sometimes these faults clear after driving for a while. Your brakes should work just fine but won't have the ABS feature.
Let us know what you find.Bill
Bill ,
I think this happened before when after sitting for a month at the body shop I pulled it forward pressing the brake several times ,the system reset itself . I am going to try that and see what happens will keep you informed

It's for the Brake System just don't know where to start

I have a 2003 Dutch Star with a Spartan Chassis , Had it stored for about a month and when I started her this morning the ABS Filter warning light came on . What do I need to do to correct this and where is the filter located ?

Don't know where you live but Rryan's RV in Princeton TX is a reasonable place with good results for me 214-244-1203- Also Joe Slade RV Repair in Garland 214-779-5240

One thing I haven't noticed from anyone is the thermostat . I have an 03 Dutch Star and just changed to the heat pump system . I had to change to a 10 button thermostat ( Black) required for the new heat pump AC's also the dip switches were needed to be set on the control board #3 from the bottom was the furnace and #4 was for the heat pump switch everything worked fine after that . Don't know if that will help but just my 2 cents worth

Are you in the campground just south and to the west of the road from South Fork? Kinda looks like a nice peaceful valley.
If so how is it?
You coming to Six-State????
Herman
We took 149 out of South Fork 21 miles to Creed then about 3 miles to the south to Mountain Views Resort. which has large sites on the RV Park side I don't think anybody would have any complaints about the views and the weather is gorgeous .30's at night and 60's during the day'
No momma didn't want to go to six state this year . I wanted to but momma said no LOL

6 minutes ago, Manholt said:michaelhillhouse. If your asking about New Mexico, I was not there, I was in Alto, next door to Ruidoso. Nice class A, RV park. Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch and you get a pass to all off Rainmaker Golf Resort, & Spa, Gym, etcetera. Private Community. I'm now in Schulenburg, Texas...hot & muggy!
Carl
OK my mistake anyway hope you had fun and relaxed a little , we're still at Creed and the weather was down to 37 this morning and only supposed to only get to 60 for a high , first time we've ever been here and it's great . Take care and always be the second mouse LOL
-
Hey Carl are you still at Santa Fe
-
Actually the correct date is Sept. 12th thru the 15th @ Shawnee OK
-
Found out that the gauge was bad . Replaced the gauge and went on our merry way to Colorado and enjoying the cooler weather . It was 102 at home today and we never got out of the 60's here at Creede
-
Manholt ,
The light is flashing Red , calling Newmar is my next step . Where was your sensor located
-
B;ake ,
The only readout I have is the electrical gauge on the dash.
-
I have the Spartan Chassis. Wouldn't the Gauge at least show some kind of reading? The coolant level shows to be OK the only thing working is the red warning light.
How do I check the level in the Radiator other than the sight glass on the tank above the engine? As you can guess I'm at a loss where to check next.
I did remove the gauge panel on the dash and everything was attached. The only work on the electrical system was the brake lights to work.
-
Just got My 2003 Dutch Star out of the body shop and the water temperature gauge is not registering . It has a 350 Cummins and the warning light is flashing. I checked the wires as far as the radiator tank sensor. It has good connections so I don't know where to start.

We purchased a Newmar Dutch Star used almost two years ago and I must say we have never regretted our purchase . The quality and workmanship are the best of any coach we've owned also the factory support is the best in the US . We had a American Eagle and it wasn't near the coach the Newmar coaches are, That's my humble opinion ,
Good luck on any coach you buy .
