Thanks Alan! I bought a TPMS 3 months ago @ Camping World but returned it after I got home and saw that the sensors were not pass through, and had set screws. They told me they didn't know of any pass through sensor systems when I returned it.
-
I would love to have a TPMS if I could find one you didn't need to remove the sender to adjust tire pressure. I doubt it would be much fun with an inner rear. Anyone know of such a system?

I have noticed this too. Also over the last 20 years it seems you don't hear them on the CB as much as you used to. Back in the day it used to be kind of entertaining to listen to some of their chatter.

I think we got you coach's twin. The problems I'm having I'm leanin towards "Money Pit" And I thought boats were bad. LOL
-
It's a 70 amp unit, The wire to the breaker is 6 gage wire. Also the location of the breaker will not allow room for a bigger breaker.
-
Finally made it back down to the coach. The charger is a Intellapower 9200 by Progresive Industries. The inverter is a Trip Lite RV612ENT.
-
I didn't get down there tonight but I will tomorrow.
-
That's what I figured so I posted the link to the part. The original point I was tiring to make is that a fellow FMCA member knew more about fixing my charging system than the dealership's mechanics.
-
I've been going to Rons right after work so I'll have to check it tomorrow. The charger is working fine on shore power now. It has been keeping the batteries up for over 2 weeks now. This is the breaker he changed out: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Circuit-Breaker-50-Amp-Threaded-Stud/_/R-BK_7823117_0006522027 I'll check on the size of the inverter next time I go down there. I'm not 100% sure but I think it is an 1800 watt invertor/ charger, and it also has a separate charger in the same bay.

Just got back. It is a 50 amp DC breaker. It is between the charger/inverter and the batteries.

Ron fixed it for me. He told me 50, but then I could have misunderstood him.

As a relativly new RVer I am learning these lessons. I will never take my coach to the dealer for work ever again. The coach batteries would never charge on shore power, and the coach had a leak in the cab area. 2 of the screws that hold the trim just above and in front of the door on our last outing (before we took it in for the IOU stuff) and you could see behind the side wall. I duct taped over it to attempt to keep the rain out. We had done some troubleshooting before we took it in and determined that the 110 charger output was not getting to the coach batteries. The dealership replaced the batteries and called it good, then siliconed the snot out of the running lights and said the leak was fixed. When I picked it up 3 weeks after we dropped it off it still had the tape on the trim that I put on. The smartest thing I have done since I bought the coach was join FMCA & then get involved with a local chapter. (The Pudget Sounders) One of the members lives about 45 minutes away from me & he has let me keep it in his garage while we work on it. He correctly diagnosed & fixed the bad 50 amp breaker that was the real charging problem, and we are in the process of replacing the plywood that delaminated while the coach was sitting outside at the dealership. Lucky for us it is the narrow strip between the front door & the front cap. While we're at it I'm re calking everything just to be on the safe side.

I wouldn't want to drive in it either. Glad you beat it home.

I am wanting to make this change as well, but I am worried about the winter months when the coach is not being used. In the winter months it is not that uncommon to have lows in the low 20's, even mid teens. I've asked several sales associates at different stores which ones stood up better to low temps, LCD or plasma and none of them seem to know. Anyone here have any insight?

Maintenance/Repair Manual For A 2006 Coachman RV
teamrope replied to Gllash's topic in Type A motorhomes
I think the OP is looking for the MH equivalent of a Chiltons or Haynes repair manual. Good question as I just purchased an 05 Coachmen myself. -
It is a 2005 Coachmen Cross Country 376 DS. We pick it up Saturday. Looking forward to getting her out on the road.
