  1. Checking air pressure when cold. Means to check it before the vehicle is driven, like first thing in the morning before starting your trip. Air tires according to tire manufacturers inflation tables and your load. You must weigh your coach to determine weight each of the tires is carrying. Air pressure must be the same for all tires on each axle, and each of the dual tires. Also, do not check pressure after driving in hot weather, and finding it high, let air out. Do not remove air in that circumstance. My cold pressure is 105 psi, but after driving on a hot day the pressure will be about 125 psi. All very normal. Good Luck CarlGeo
  2. Brett Thanks for the reply. I believe my inverter does have the 'pass thru' feature, and has in the past worked as intended. Your comment about ATS may be where the problem exists. I have checked all my GFI's and they are OK. Checked the fuses on the inverter, and they are OK. Something similar occurred about two years ago, with exact same circuits. Had appointment with tech to check out, took to shop, and when connected to shore power, all was good. So no problem found for sure, but he suggested either the inverter or ATS. Will take to tech for check and see where problem is. CarlGeo
  3. My coach is a 97 Safari. When connected to shore power all 110 V outlets should be hot. Is this correct? However, on current trip, I must turn inverter to get power to two circuits. Do I have a problem with the inverter, or is it normal to turn the inverter in order for all circuits to be hot? Thanks CarlGeo
  4. With exception of very small rural communities that have no zoning laws, I believe what you are proposing would violate zoning laws of almost any city or county. To occupy your own RV sitting in your driveway would be a violation, and I feel confident if the homeowner was charging rent for the space, they would certainly be in vioulation and could face fines.   5. As quickly as I could after purchase of my coach, I installed Dually valve stems. They are rather pricey, buy they work and are quality. Install them correctly and you can check / add air with no problems. Installing TPS system is no problem, and you dont have to worry about the stems flopping around or breaking. Wonderful devices - Recommend Dually valve stems. CarlGeo
  6. Camping World installed Banks PowerPack on my previous MH, '92 Airstream 31ft w/454 Chev power plant. The performance improvement was very good, especially on smaller hills. Before Banks the transmission would downshift frequently to keep speed. After Banks the coach maintained speed without downshifting. Milage improved slightly, but my reason for installing Banks was for increased power, and it delivered. Also, the engine ran cooler after Banks. Very satisfied with Banks and the installation by Camping World. I would recommend it based upon my experience.
