  1. We absolutely positively do not share your information with anyone.
  2. All- Thank you again for your patience. Spoke to Verizon today. If you are having issues activating a device, or if you have successfully activated a device, please PM me. Share your mifi phone number and order number from the confirmation email you received from Verizon. If you are having issues activating or adding to your plan, call 1-800-922-0204. Have the profile id: 4273588 handy. Also mention Family Motor Coach Association, not just FMCA. If you call and say I want the FMCA deal, the rep will have no idea what offer you are talking about. They are also working on a dedicated email address that our members can contact if they are having issues.

  4. That is a good deal. I think they discontinued new signups for the plan last month.
  5. I apologize to everyone for issues you are having. FMCA is pushing Verizon to fix all of the issues being discussed here. Activations and adding on to current plans seem to be an issue. Really concerned that people are getting activation errors that the line belongs to someone else. These are new lines, with a contract signed directly between the member and Verizon. Hang tight and hopefully we can get some answers today!
  6. They knew we were launching on Wednesday. They’ve known that for a while. Not sure why they are having so many issues.
  7. Hi Bob. PM me your phone number. I will have one of my direct contacts at Verizon help you out.
  8. I am glad for you! I was feeling your pain with all the issues you were having.
  9. FMCA provided mail forwarding for over 30 years, so we were in it for the long haul.
  10. Good question. Not sure if they give you that info up front or not. I will find out.
  11. Bill, If you rejoined today, your membership start day would be today. It would not go back to when you lapsed.
  12. That is correct. Since you have to be an active FMCA member to get the deal from Verizon, the requirement is that you have your FMCA member dues paid to match the two year contract with Verizon.
  13. Diana- just sent you a private message. Will get you some help with your issue.
  14. I ordered one. Taxes and fees on my bill shipped to Cincinnati was less than a buck per month. Main driver of your taxes and fees is where your billing address is. You can sign up today if you want. You just need to extend your membership two years out.
  15. Verizon has vendors with grandfathered unlimited unthrottled plans that you can rent from them. Verizon is shutting these vendors down pretty often. You can expect to pay 119-249 bucks per month. If they shut the vendor down, you lose your plan with no notice.
  16. Old deal did not fall apart because of length of membership. Had nothing to do with it. Taxes depend on where you are. Device I ordered and shipped to Cincinnati had less than a dollar per month of taxes and fees. How much would you pay Verizon for a 25 GB plan? It would be well over 100 bucks per month. Doesn’t really sound terrible to me. Sounds like you use 100GB+ is data each month. If that’s the case, yes this plan is not for you.
  17. Diana and West Will, Verizon is having issues with existing customers. We are pushing them to get it fixed on their end. Hang tight and we hope they come up with a resolution shortly. New customers are able to sign up with no issues.
  18. Hi Kay, It is 25 GB of high speed access, and throttled after that.
  19. Any data plan will have fine print. This plan will not work for all, but will be attractive for many. You get 25GB of high speed, and after that it is throttled. If you bought a 20 GB plan directly from Verizon, you would pay $120. So it is a great deal if 25GB of high speed fits your needs. You sign a two year contract directly with Verizon, so FMCA can't "take it away." The prior mail service had been around for 30 years when it was shut down, so it wasn't something that was around for a couple years and taken away. Hopefully we get some good reviews on the data offering and you decide to join in.
  20. We are looking into it now. Will let you know when fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
