Verizon Wireless Key
wcnorris replied to berginaperzina's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
We use the Verizon USB device with very good results in most locations. It is easy to determine your availability of service if you have a Verizon cell phone - no cell service=no Internet service. It has only happened twice in our east coast travels. Wayne -
BlueOx states the towbar must be within 4 inches of level. I use a drop hitch to achieve that. Towing a toad without supplemental braking is dangerous and probably illegal in many states.

Wow! That confuses me too. The good news is that you cannot be really pulling 36A from a 20A circuit. I don't think your PT50C likes your adapter configuration. How about an extension cord from the house directly to the AC line on the back of your refer? That has worked for me in the past. Wayne

Cellular Internet: How To Get A Better Signal
wcnorris replied to wa0mqe's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
Thanks for this thread. I have had signal problems with both cell and aircard. My external aircard antenna has been no help. This looks like a good solution. -
Florida Recommendations? Winter 09
wcnorris replied to cwilliamson1943@gmail.com's question in Destinations/Attractions
It will be hard to find too many places for $900/month in SW Florida and with a reasonable drive to the beach. The farther south you go - the higher the rates. We like the Sarasota and Fort Myers - there are several smaller parks in both areas that may meet your needs. I can't give any names, since we always stay at Sun-N-Fun in Sarasota or Cypress Woods in Fort Myers - they are both higher than $900 in the winter season. Wayne -
We have the vented model. I would not have a non-vented unit unless you like damp clothes. JMHO
