Will do. I have the beads in all 6 tires, 8 oz in each of the fronts 235/80 22.5 tires and 6 oz in each rear 245/75 22.5 tires. They are smoother than the Centramatics that I had on.

Location is great. We have lived about 158 miles north of Yuma in Lk Havasu City for 45 years and go to Yuma from time to time. Mexico is about 20 miles from Yuma and we go there for prescriptions, eye glasses, and their dental is top notch as the dentist are trained in the U.S. Dental work is about 80% less than in the U.S.

There is dust everywhere you go in the country, thats why you have a vacuum cleaner. Some places have more some less. So what!

When I had my last coach painted I was offered Diamond Shield for $1250. So I asked how much to repaint the front end and was quoted $850. I just sold that motorhome after 5 years and the original paint was still perfect.

Almost everyone that is there goes to the RV show at least once. There is a lot going on. Several flea markets, gems, rv parts, rv salvage store, etc. There are many that spend a month or more there dry camping. Remember we have self contained RVs. A lot have solar panels to keep the batteries up.

Take you fittings apart and look for blockage.
-
I think that would be the only way I would do it.

I read in the Denver area they started checking out the registration addresses of out of state registered RVs. They accessed fines and back due taxes and licenses and in just a few months collected more that a million dollars. Probably not worth the chance of getting caught.

I have a set of Centramatics that I took off when I went with the beads. The beads were furnished by the mfg for me to test, I think that I will stick with the beads.

Sometimes they have 100k plus RVs. I think it made Time mag cover some years ago.

Try putting a straight edge on the face of the alt pulley and see how it lines up with the crank pulley. Its possible that the alt is slightly twisted giving the illusion that it is not in line.

Sitting there I was thinking maybe I only drove enough to break the bag and the beads were sitting in the bottom of the tire solidifying. When we left the diner, we drove about 15 miles back to the house and parked it. Never went over 60 the whole time. I seldom go over 70 and never go over 75.
No break in required. They are loose and are moving to the light spot. Once it is balanced they stay in that spot until you stop or the balance changes.

I installed beads in May 17 and drove about 5k miles this summer and they work good. I never went over 75 mph and they were smooth. Valve stems have filters on them and I have solid extensions on the inner duals.

I have seen several VPs and their other half manning the booth.

Was the pulley taken off the shaft?

Are you looking for a manual or automatic set up?

FMCA normally has a booth at Quartzite. I worked it back in the 80s.

I had my coach repaired at Freightliner in Gaffney 3 weeks ago and I am happy with the outcome, my transmission shifting problem was solved. I knew what the problem was, a broken wire, but lacked the skills to reprogram both computers.
On my way home to Az my compressor would not shut off and the safety valve kept opening. It was on the weekend but I called Freightliner and was told incorrect information on the routing of the 1/4 in lines. I thought I knew better but tried to go on their recommendations. They told me that my dryer was plugged. Wasted a lot of time trouble shooting. Woke up at 3:30 Monday morning and called tech help again thinking I should get a different tech. I did and he was just as confused. I asked if he could email me a schematic of the air system and he said he would. None ever came.
At 7:00 Monday morning I called a local truck parts and repair service in Cookeville Tn and spoke to a mechanic. I asked for a complete description of the air system and he answered all my questions including that he had all the parts that I would need. Determined that the modulator was bad to I drove 7 miles to the shop and bought a new one. $11.25 and 20 minutes later I was good to go. I bought a second one to have as a spare as suggested on the forum.
My conclusion is that the tech help that Freightliner has on the weekend is not the ones you want to talk to.

It is a NO vote for us. We joined FMCA BECAUSE of what it is, what it represents. Change this and we are little different from any other group. Motorhomes NEED their own advocate and their own organization that is dedicated to our unique needs. We have many organizations already that look to the generic RV industry.
Well said.

I go every year. I live in Lk Havasu City about 80 miles to the north.

How clean is the radiator and charge air cooler? Has it ever been steam cleaned. I saw a friend of mine have his radiator steam cleaned at Freightliner 3 weeks ago and it corrected his overheating.

I have 6 AGMs in a similar situation. I built the rack to hold the batteries so there is no hold downs required. It is open to the engine compartment. I don't see a need for boxes.

DD's Coach is a little older then yours and his coach will have gauges that read air pressure directly, but the newer models have a module that converts air pressure to a voltage level - that is connected to the Air pressure gauges.
If you find wires connected to the pressure gauges and with the pressure levels jumping around. The best bet is an issue in the module. Common issue is bad / cold solder joints in the area of the signal / voltage output.
The other possibility is a corroded or loose data connection at the module.
If the air pressure was indeed dropping below a level controlled by a PPV an alarm would sound !!
Let the group know what you find behind the dash!
Rich.
My misunderstanding. I toured Freightliner in Gaffney a few weeks ago and they were talking about the fewer wires in the harnesses on current coaches because of the new design. I think they called it multiplexing. They talked like it was rather new so I didn't think it would apply to a 9 year old coach.

I always transfer my Tire Minder transmitters from my Silverado to my tow dolly and the rear of my Prius.

Air filter for the engine is not affected too much because the engine is not running.
