  1. Nice. I've been looking for a narrow recliner to replace our euro chair that has a separate foot rest. The separate foot rest is always in the way and I'd like the option to rock of swivel. Now I know I can look into La-z-boy. Nice color matching too. It really looks professional.
  2. Hello from Rochester, NY! It's always nice to see fellow upstate New Yorkers. My husband and I have been touring around in our 2008 42' Gulfstream Tourmaster for over 2 years now. Not full time yet, but we're working on it. You'll enjoy FMCA as they have many things to offer. We went to our first FMCA rally in Indio, CA this past January. Lots of rv's, lots of different people, fun times. Hope to see you at one sometime. Enjoy your new rv and safe travels!
  3. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I'm not sure about where to find the part you are looking for but you might also want to post on the Gulfstream Owners Forum Website. Being fellow Gulfstream owners they may have an idea too. Here's the address, http://gsowners.com/ Good luck! Brenda
  4. I'm thankful ... For our 13-1/2 year old German Shepherd, Tasha, who's still with us after all these years. For water pressure and hot water in the shower. For a quiet day with my husband. For no rain! For sleeping in. For watching the Macy's parade. For the knowledge my husband has in fixing everything and anything. Here's wishing all of you happiness and good health this holiday season!
  5. In Homestead there's a few places to stay overnight. My recommendation is the Super Wal-Mart on South Dixie Highway. There's lots around it to do and restaurants to try. The important thing to remember is not to push yourself to make it down to Blue Water Key in the evening. At night it will be too dark to drive down there if you don't know the area. Plus, they frown upon late arrivals and there is a security gate that you will need a pass-code to enter. You'll enjoy arriving a lot more in the daylight anyway so you can see the beautiful water and scenery as you drive. Enjoy!
  6. Where is this photo taken? It looks so peaceful.
  7. My husband and I stayed at Blue Water Key RV Resort, www.bluewaterkey.com, this past April (2009) with our 42' Tourmaster and it was beautiful. Expensive, but if only staying for a week or two, well worth it. Plus, your an easy drive into Key West. I don't advise going into Key West with your rig. You will not fit down the narrow streets. As you can see from the pics, you can't get any closer to the water. It can be a bit windy sometimes though. We will definitely be back next year.
