I have some modifications on my "To Do List" for my Outlaw that I plan to get done this year. In the garage I want to: (1) Add a cigarette lighter to the switch panel so I can plug in my portable 12v refrigerator/warmer. (2) Make some portable adjustable pole stands to support the ramp in a position to be a sun deck. (3) Design a way to secure a 12v winch for loading my Harley or other vehicle if it is not operational. (Don't want to push anything up the ramp) (4) Add a portable screen at the end of the garage to keep out flying insects. (5) Remove the electric drop down foam queen bed stored near the ceiling and replace it with a storage box. (I don't need the extra bed in the garage). Already added are: [a] A chrome Bike Pro Quick Release wheel chalk. My full dresser is secured on the drivers side to offset the added weight of 4 AGM 6v batteries in a compartment on the right for the inverter and solar panels. Two tap lights, one near the light switch panel and another on side wall near ramp so I don't trip in the dark looking for the light switch. [c] A wall thermometer near the door. [d] Fire extinguisher for garage area. [e] I relocated the manufactures stationary b&w back-up camera to the corner above the TV in the garage. This allows me to check on how my bike and other things that are tied down in the garage. [f] I added an additional 6 color digital camera system, 2 sides, 2 nose, one interior above the dash (rear view) and a low light back-up camera that both pans and tilts (scroll to bottom).

I have a 2008 Damon Outlaw model 3611 and in the garage is my 2003 Ultra Classic (full dresser) Harley Davidson.

Yes, I have an exterior Coach lift Chair available. I used it on my old Rv for my mother for a couple years and later got a toy hauler so I just roll her up the ramp now..

Hello everyone, I have been a FMCA member for years but recently joined the forum. I saw alot of the world in 20 years of te Army and now enjoying the freedom of the open road seeing the USA by Rv and on two wheels. My last Rv was in a 89 Elite 36 ft pusher. Between problems of maintenance and my Harley always dirty riding on a elec lift, I moved on to a 37' Damon Outlaw that has a garage, with more room and horse power. Made my first FMCA Rally in Pamona just after I got my rig. My first added accessory was a 16 ft flag pole for Old Glory followed with solar panels, and adding 6 cameras to the system all to make life a bit easier. Still got lots more on my wish list for Santa. My co-pilot is my biker dog Ultra who rides on my Harley. We have lots of adventures ahead and friends to meet. Hope to cross paths and meet more Outlaw owners. Happy trails and keep the wind in your face.

During 1971 I was fed up with working part time and attending college full time and went to see the Navy Recruiter. I grew up watching McHales Navy, my father served in the south pacific during WWII, and we always had boats for fishing and skiing. Well, I had no arrests and 1 year of college and wanted to serve on a swift boat. Because of my driving record, 4 speeding tickets in 6 months, the recruiter said I was ineligible to join the Navy. I told him I only wanted to ride on the GD boat, not drive it. It did not matter, so I went to the Army Recruiter and ended up staying for 20. My older cousin joined the Marines and his name is on the Wall in Wash DC. (All True)

When in the area of the Grand Canyon a short drive away is the town of Oatman AZ that is on The Mother Road, historic Route 66 a short distance from Laughlin NV and Hoover Dam.

When it comes to camera, you get what you pay for. I do not recommend wireless as they lots of problems. Stick with hard wire. Digital cameras are best. Color cameras and monitors are best in seeing and differentiating objects. There are two types of cameras, those made for stick houses and those made for the abuse of moving vehicles. There are three kinds of back-up cameras. Stationary, tilt (moves up and down), and a Pan and Tilt Camera giving a view of 180 degree . I myself have a Total Vision Camera System on my Class A Outlaw (scroll down). I love my pan and tilt back-up camera as it will show my hitch ball and adjust up and over my tow vehicle, and will pan to the sides showing areas that are blind spots on other back-up cameras. The cost of a quality camera is cheaper than increased insurance rates for accidents, the cost of deductibles, the cost of property damage of other property, the lost time of having a RV in the body shop, and the memories of hitting something.
