I need a wiring diagram or help knowing about a no start no air heater on 01 Renegade sedona on the Magnum R series chassis. Cat 3126 B with Allison. No power to chassis fuse and relay. But when I get the ignition wire going into it jumped to power auto tranny control comes on to N. The air heater comes on and she will run. I just don't know where this 14ga ignition wire comes from that goes into the chassis fuses by the battery bank. I assume it's shorted somewhere upstream.

I understand that Allison started shipping transmissions with Transynd already in the transmission . I have a 2005 workhorse with an Allison 1000 and was wondering if it came with transsynd or dextron. I am almost at 50,000 miles so I am wondering if I am due for a full change or just a filter? If it isDextron I plan to convert. Any help would be appreciated. VIN# is 5B4MP67G453403851

I have a 2007 Fleetwood Revolution, C9 Cat with an Allison Trans. I am getting a J1939 error periodically and at the same time several gauges stops working, red warning lights blink on those gauges and where the transmission gear numbers are displayed, they are "x".s or look like cat eyes. This tend to happed very randomly and not all of the errors. Lights, gauges stop working at the same time. It will happen off and on , again and again until things warm up then things work great throughout the warmer summer. While all this is going on, the coach still runs the same (very well). Once driven around 5-10 miles it seems to stop doing it and everything is fine. Someone told me he suspected a TCM or ECM connection or wire could be bad since this problem could be fine for months before doing it again but I had the wiring checked out all appeared OK. However, it seems to only do this in colder weather which makes me wonder if something internally in the modules can be bad?. The problem I’m having is finding someone nearby that can read Allison error codes. Allison seems to hold their proprietary close to their chest Anyone else had errors like this?

After having a VP44 pump and lift pump installed on my 02" Journey at Turbo Diesel and Electric in Macon GA. I suddenly had a data link electrical problem which caused my trans check light to come on and the tranny went to "limp" mode. They did not have Allison software and denied that they caused the problem. Spent almost a thousand dollars at Middle GA Freightliner for diagnostics of data link problem that they could not find. (See RV Reveiws.Com) GA for whole story. Check Middle Georgia Freightliner and also Turbo Diesel Electric. AVOID THESE TWO SERVICE SHOPS, in MACON GA.!!! Now for the GOOD part of this story, I called W. W. Williams, Atlanta after getting screwed over by the fore mentioned company's, and they fit me in within three days, called me back almost daily status, provided a detailed cost estimate of not only what I brought the MH there for but also other things the found. They almost immediately found the data link problem, within one hour! Dropped the pan on my Allison found dirt in pan, cleaned/flushed housing, removed and overhauled the valve body, replaced some internal parts and internal harness due to age, replaced pan gasket, internal filter, refilled it with TES-295 and changed external filter. They determined the problem I had with check light and limp mode was due to a part of the data link harness was pulled loose and burned/shorted the cable when it came in contact with hot manifold probably at Turbo Diesel during the pump install. In addition they found a resistor end at another part of the cable had water in it, also probably done at Turbo Diesel Electric when they washed down the engine with water to get fuel they spilled on it. Back on the road again!!!! These guys did a great job, fast competent, professional service and they did not break the bank. As a matter of fact they came in sixty dollars under the estimate so I bought with the difference two gallons of Allison TES-295 trans fluid for $32.00 each, YES you heard me THRITY-TWO dollar per gallon. (Normally retail $58-65 for Allison Approved product) They also handle Donaldson filters. I WILL USE THESE GUYS AGAIN, RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!!!!!!

As a newbie to RVing I am slowly rehabilitating a 1993 Aerosport by HMC, 34' W/ 250 Cummins. Transmission code on Allison MD 3060 is d-1, 2-1, 1-2. I have an appointment with Cummins dealer in three weeks, could not wait that long, called Freightliner, they had a tech on it in 30 min. I called the Allison dealer that installed the new ECU for the trans. and they said it is not a transmission part, but an engine part, Freightliner says it's a Allison part. Help! And is the throttle position sensor on the motor or at foot throttle? By the way, the coach drives just fine, but has "service" illuminated on shift pad. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Recently bought a Country Coach with 4000 Allison transmission. After two days of getting a acquainted we started our first trip to bring the coach home. Getting on the first entrance ramp the check trans light came on and the coach went into what I know now is the "limp home" . After shutting down and retiring the coach the fault cleared but several more times same series of events. Tech support from dealer with calls to Allison (I think) produced the check specific connections clean, and lube instructions. Traveled several miles with tech and fault did not reappear. Tech left and fault happened several more times. Dealer alluded to another CC that had the problem but cured it by turning on the cruise control. After laughing at the suggestions, desperate, I tried this to get back to dealer. It worked! Not one fault and the coach drove beautifully all the way back to the dealers lot. They have been unable to diagnose themselves so it goes to a Allison facility Monday. Anyone with suggestions on what to watch for, similar problems and/or solutions? Coach is an 2007 with 12,000 miles and truly appears brand new. Tech even remarked the bay containing all the electronics "appeared as if it just drove off the showroom floor". Also no previous problem according to original owner. Thanks in advance for any input here.
