Kiltedpig Report post Posted May 12, 2017 The steering does not lock when the key is left in but I am not sure if there is a voltage draw. Anyone pulling a Soul know?

Widget33 Report post Posted May 12, 2017 There is a draw when the key is on. I tow a 2016 Soul and had a wire ran from mh to toad battery so it stays charged
Widget33 Report post Posted May 12, 2017 The key has to be in the acc position for the steering wheel to be unlocked on mine. In acc there is a draw.
manholt Report post Posted May 12, 2017 If you have a 13 and a 15 is good to go, then you are in the same boat as Corona4me. Apparently, it changed in 16 or 17!

Corona4me Report post Posted May 18, 2017 Does your key need to be on for the steering to be unlocked?
rickkey2 Report post Posted May 18, 2017 Not a Kia but my 2014 Chevy Equinox put car in N and turn key to off and leave key in and steering doe's not lock. Take the key out and it locks. My 2017 Chevy Cruze has push button start and there is no steering lock at all. Also no battery draw with ether car.
