hermanmullins Report post Posted February 26, 2018 If I have learned anything about the wind, it is that the wind doesn't like me or my motor home. No matter what direction I am traveling I will have a Head Wind or a Cross Wind. I can't remember the last time I had a Tail Wind. I am not sure (yes Bill it is spelled "Sure") , I would know how to handle a Tail Wind. Herman

We had 70-75 mph tailwinds. You might remember the news about the big winds and being so dry that year, 2011 I think. We had been to kids, in Az and headed to Rally in Henderson Kansas. I'm not sure the winds were exactly that strong, the second day on the last leg in Oklahoma to Kansas.

I don't have an anometer on the coach. The figures were from local radio stations .
ianbullock Report post Posted February 27, 2018 Wow! Tail winds. 22 mpg. Amazing! How come I either get the head wind or side wind? Never the tailwind!
