Afordeck Report post Posted April 6, 2018 I stopped at a rest stop, shifted into park, five minutes later when I tried shifting into drive, the six flashed and the transmission would not engage. The six also flashed when I shifted into reverse but would not engage. I got out of the seat briefly to look for the manual. When I sat back down and tried shifting again, the transmission engaged and I was able to drive on down the rod. What might have been the problem? This transmission is in a 2003 Ultrasport.
