Sumo springs

Recommended Posts

Sumo Springs add to effective spring rate.  That can be good or bad, depending on whether your actual axle weights  are under or over GAWR's.

So,  to move forward, by far the best answer is to load the coach as you travel and weigh the wheel positions (better) or much more easily at many truck stops each axle and compare that the GAWR's from Ford.

That will also allow you to accurately determine correct minimum tire pressure (which certainly affects both ride and handling).
