HURDDP Report post Posted August 18, 2020 Can anyone explain the difference in wear between the right hand tire (front of trailer) and the left hand tire (rear). 2019 Rockwood mini lite with about 6k miles. ST205 75R 15. Thanks
hermanmullins Report post Posted August 18, 2020 It sounds like you have an alignment problem or you have a over weight problem.Your axles may have shifted. It can happen if you hit a curb or a really bad pothole. Have the alignment checked and each wheel weighted. Let us know what you find. Herman
rayin Report post Posted August 18, 2020 (edited) Reading this article will offer insight into having trailer axles and tires aligned. There is a DIY method of checking axle alignment, however it is not completely accurate, nor can it determine tire alignment specs. Lippert axles may have Correct Track adjustment bolts. tireman9 Report post Posted September 3, 2020 Can't really see tire wear in that picture BUT do the two tires measure the same OD? (OC is easier to measure once off the trailer.) If OC is more than 1/4" different you MUST have the larger tire inspected ASAP for possible belt problems. here is more info on that https://www.rvtiresafety.net/2018/05/st-tire-belt-separation-autopsy-how-to.html
