24k Report post Posted August 30, 2020 We have a new jayco precept 31UL . We are having problem after problems. Left rv at dealer for 10 days got it back they fixed nothing but said they did. So current issue we took first shower in rv i got hot water. Tried to take second shower next day and no hot water to be found. Got hot water at sink but water pressure went down to super low pressure. What’s wrong? Thanks
raypesek Report post Posted August 31, 2020 Is the hot water pressure in the shower adequate but cool or cold? You specified "sink" but you should have at least two sinks, bathroom and kitchen. Is the hot water pressure low at both sinks or just one? Which one if just one? Do you know what kind of water heater you have? If the kind with a tank, locate and check the water heater bypass valves. These are used for the winterization process. Do you have an outside shower, usually found in the wet bay compartment? A common cause for a lack of hot water is someone using the outside shower head and turning the water off at the shower head but leaving the valves turned on. That causes the hot and cold water to mix inside the RV. But that will not explain the lack of pressure. Ray
rsbilledwards Report post Posted August 31, 2020 First ck for heater operating if it check valve positions on water bay board. Though that does not explain why you have hot water and then none when it was in your hands.
manholt Report post Posted August 31, 2020 Contact Jayco direct. There are some dealers out there that just sell and don't care a hoot about service!
