bkgabelt Report post Posted August 18, 2021 We have a 2018 Allegro Bus 41’ motorhome with 20k miles. We badly scuffed the sidewalls on the front and rear passenger side. We are debating on how many tires need replaced. Any advice would be helpful.
kaypsmith Report post Posted August 18, 2021 (edited) If you badly scuffed both front and rear and there is only two tires involved, if front and rear are the same size, and all are only three to four years old. Then I would move the left front to the rear, then put the two new tires on the front. this way all drive axel tires should be the same age and should be replaced in two to three more years. Without seeing the damage I can't recommend. But if you feel the need to replace the 2 scuffed tires I would do like Kay said. Sometimes replacing them improves your confidence and comfort level. tireman9 Report post Posted September 27, 2021 Yup go to a dealer of that brand tire where they can inspect to confirm the "damage" is only cosmetic or structural.
