TONENGIB@GMAIL.COM Report post Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) We have two battery disconnect switch’s on the inside panel (main switch and aux switch). Along with those we have an on/off switch on inverter, and another in the bay where the dirt devil vacuum is. if we are dropping off for service or storing without power, what do we turn off to avoid ruining the batteries. Thank you. FW Discovery 2022 Edited December 11, 2022 by TONENGIB@GMAIL.COM
dons2346 Report post Posted December 11, 2022 Welcome to the forum If I was dropping off my coach for service, I would turn everything off just to be on the safe side. After all, you might not have an idea as to how long the coach will sit there
five Report post Posted December 12, 2022 Agree...when in doubt, turn everything off. However, my Freightliner dealer does not take appointments. So I call a day prior to when I'd like to take it in and ask if they can see me the next day. If yes, I take it in and wait for it, if no, I call back another day. To date, I've never had to leave my coach for them to work on it "when they get a chance."
rayin Report post Posted December 13, 2022 In most instances the LP detector is always powered, not ran through any disconnect switch. I unplug mine for storage.
