mmrgrider Report post Posted February 13 Can a lifted jeep wrangler be towed?
wildebill308 Report post Posted February 13 I would guess that would depend on how much it is lifted. Bill

wildebill308 Report post Posted February 13 That shouldn't be a problem. Follow the towbar manufactuers instructions on how level the towbar needs to be. Bill
rayin Report post Posted February 13 I agree, Roadmaster and Blue Ox says the two hitch points (towed and MH) must be within 4" of level, I suspect all other tow bar mfgrs. follow that rule. Exceeding that rule opens the door to a hard stop causing the Jeep to over-ride or under-ride the tow bar. Level is best. I've seen many lifted and oversize tired Jeeps being towed 4-down. elkhartjim Report post Posted February 13 I towed a 2" lifted Jeep for several years without any problems. Both Roadmaster and Blue Ox recommends that the towbar is within 3" of being level. You may or may not need a drop hitch for the motorhome.
