DEVERE Report post Posted May 14, 2012 When I use the water pump in the MH when dry camping, it has started to surge, never used to do this. Has anyone have an idea why this is happening & how can I solve the problem? Thank you Don
wolfe10 Report post Posted May 14, 2012 Don, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. Does your system have an ACCUMULATOR in it? What pump do you have? Does this still happen when you open the faucet all the way, or only at lower demand levels? Brett
dickandlois Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Don, If you could post the Model and Year of your coach it helps pin down things a little easier. Rich.
DEVERE Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Thank you for your reply. No it does not have an accumulator. It is a Flowjet 4406 series "Quad ll Diaphragm", the coach is a Tropical 2008 by National. Hope this info will help.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Is that a variable speed pump? Flowjet had problems with their electronics which controls the speed of the pump. If you have to change the pump Shurflo has a new model that looks good.
DEVERE Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Does not say if it is a variable speed or not.
