rrlowther Report post Posted July 20, 2012 Good morning FMCA'ers~! We are currently in the Dallas area. We made the mistake of booking at the HI HO Campground. We are here house hunting and really need to be as close as we can to the Dallas area. Can anyone please suggest a campground that isn't right on the freeway but close to the city? texaspenny123 Report post Posted July 20, 2012 We have stayed north of Dallas near Flower Mound at the Vineyards in Grapevine its very nice gated and near the airport and freeways....there is also a Corp of Engineer park on Lake Lewisville call Hickory Creek its very reasonable and nice view of lake.
