willisclarke Report post Posted October 4, 2012 I have no idea where to look for the fuel, oil, air filters and other engine parts on my 1998 Bounder (28T). It is a Chevy engine, 454 I think, but when I purchased it used recently, there was no documentation, and the Owner's Manual is useless to understand what is going on down below. Is there such a manual available, and, if so, anyone know how to obtain it? Thanks a bunch (the quote-unquote little things are becoming overwhelming)!! hermanmullins Report post Posted October 4, 2012 Oil Filter is under the engine and is a spin off filter. The Air Filter is the same place as any 454 engine but is under the dog house. Lift up the dog house and there it is. I believe Rick or Brett will have a web site for manuals. Good Luck. Herman
dickandlois Report post Posted October 4, 2012 Willis, Your Chassis should be a Chevy P-30 series. What you are looking for is the Shop Manual. I listed 2 possible sources for a manual. They are not free downloads. This information was not included with the coach when it was new. #1---http://seo.chiltonsonline.com/Pub/DIY/Product.aspx?ca=Repair&b=3618 #2---http://www.gearheadcafe.com/download_auto_repair_manuals/Download_Chevy_Truck_Manuals.html I will gladly process your request NOW and reply to you with the download link. Email me at downloads@detroitiron.com (include your year make and model). Hope this helps Rich.
