Is there a good central location that would allow us to visit all 3 parks using our Toad or is this too far apart. We have a 36' Discovery w/Toad. Thanks. oscarpower Report post Posted January 16, 2013 Coming down from the NW, we stayed at the South end of Moab. The campground was OK RV Campground (http://www.okrvpark.com/ phone 435-259-1400). It was clean, everyone very courteous and with Passport America membership, they only charged $18.50 a night with full hookup. There were large rigs and small RV's. From there we went in our tow car to both: Arches and Canyonlands. Moab is a cute town. From there we went to Mesa Verde in Colorado. wigginsjsr Report post Posted January 16, 2013 We stayed in Kanab, UT. Visited all from there with Toad. Beautiful area, and campground nice. Stayed at Kanab RV Corral. Drives to various parks are very sceinic. There is also a super place to visit and tour, the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a must see. titanbus Report post Posted January 17, 2013 Highly recommend Moab, great access to both Arches and Canyonlands. At least 2 good RV parks there, one downtown and one out the north side of town which is a first class operation. Downtown was fine, but tight in a 42 motorhome. akadeadeye Report post Posted January 17, 2013 We highly recommend Bauer's Canyon RV Park in Glendale, UT. We did the same thing you are planning. Not too convenient to Moab but it is to Zion, Bryce, and the north Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is a small park with owners on site well kept and we would definitely go back. JulianF Report post Posted January 17, 2013 They are too far apart. I would stay at or near each park. Zion has the least best options, Bryce is better and Canyonlands better still. Don't forget to visit Capital Reef NP, you'll pass through it going between Canyonlands and Bryce. Just as beautiful and underrated IMHO. There are lots to choose from, I have stayed at several, they were all ok, nothing stood out.
