Batsome Report post Posted March 25, 2013 My subject pump in my class A is slow to build pressure. When it does pressure up it continues to pump at a very slow rate, never seeming to stop. Is it repairable or is a replacement needed? All taps are off and I see no leaks or wet connections.
five Report post Posted March 25, 2013 My pump has a filter, if yours does, be sure it's clean.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted March 25, 2013 Make sure there is no kinks in the hose next to the pump and make sure the hose has not come apart inside.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted March 26, 2013 Take the intake hose off and hook up a hose and put it in a bucket of water to see if it pumps ok. If not there is something wrong with the pump. If it runs ok then there is a restriction in the tank/plumbing.
Batsome Report post Posted March 27, 2013 Thanks all for your input. In contacting Shurflo support I was advised there is an adjustment screw on the pump. I followed the diagram and instructions I received from Shurflo and voila! Problem solved.
