ultraglide Report post Posted April 18, 2013 We have a 60x74 standard mattress in our Class A and we are planning on going full-time. What would be the best mattress to replace it with?
rossboyer Report post Posted April 18, 2013 Replace with any mattress that is comfortable to you. You will not need a box spring because the mattress will be on a wood base. I suggest that you add an anti-skid rug mat under the mattress. These are similar to the anti-skid mats used on shelving but a more course weave and come in standard rug sizes just cut to fit. We have a local firm that builds mattresses and is easier to work with than a national firm.

nitehawk Report post Posted April 19, 2013 A new one?
desertdeals69 Report post Posted April 19, 2013 Yes it was a new one. I bought a memory foam made for an rv. It's not supposed to get hard when it cold. I added a 6 inch wide platform on the top edge of the end of the engine box.
