Dish Network says my satellite is not compatible with there system....

When we bought our RV (second owner)(98 Fleetwood Southwind) it was equipped with "Winegard RM-D46 crankup RV digital satellite dish with digital magic", the owner kept the receiver and I can not find what system works with this. I want to spare the expense of replacing the satellite and extra wiring for a tailgate option thru Dish.

Any Ideas where to look, no luck looking on the web.

Its probably for Directv. You may be able to change the LNB to get it to work with Dish.

First Welcome to the Forum.

Check with Wineguard. I looked up your unit and it said that it is compatiable with both Dish and Direct. There will be some dip switches that need to be set. Wineguard Tech can walk you throught the process.

Thanks for the information, I will get in touch with Wineguard again, the first round was not user friendly....
