The cold air blows forward and if you force it down it is just picked up in the A/C return. If the cold air came out the bottom and the return was on the top it could work much better. wolfe10 Report post Posted August 14, 2009 I suspect the answer is NO, as compressors, etc are designed for a certain orientation. BUT, a quick call to the A/C manufacturer will give you the FACTS.
