tsheppard1958 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 We just had a KVH in-motion satellite system installed in our 2005 Monoco Cayman, and now we are hearing humming sound coming from speakers on the TV. dickandlois Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Tommy, the hum from the speakers is caused by a bad ground in the audio cables in most cases. Are you using RCA type cables to connect the audio ? one could disconnect the cables running between the Sat. receiver and the TV to see if the hum disappears. Rich.
