BillAdams Report post Posted July 11, 2016 I have a new toad and I don't see any room to install a new M&G myself so I would like to install the SMI Air Force One (I think, not Duo) and I would like to hook it up to the existing air line previously used by the M&G. Anyone have any idea?

hermanmullins Report post Posted July 11, 2016 Not to worry Bill. The air line on your coach doesn't know what kind of braking system it is supplying air to. Therefore you will be alright. The only difference might be the fittings where the air line connect to the tow vehicle. That should be no problem, If different, just change the fitting on the hose to match the Air Force 1. wolfe10 Report post Posted July 11, 2016 True, as long as both systems were designed to work at the same PSI (i.e. full coach air brake line pressure vs proportioned/reduced pressure). I would look at the system on your coach to see what is plumbed and then call SMI to verify that it meets their requirements. Agree, the probably answer is no problem, but better to verify.
