cmpblmom Report post Posted October 2, 2016 I have identified the source of whistling by reaching out the drivers side over the cab window and grabbing the awning arm during the whistling and this causes it to immediately stop. Short of doing this the entire time we are driving I don't know what to do about it. We are new to this so I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem and what they did to remedy it. manholt Report post Posted October 2, 2016 Tape it, or encase it in plumbing pipe foam...the gray tubular stuff that prevents freezing, looks like a noddle! Carl
BillAdams Report post Posted October 2, 2016 Velcro should take care of the problem if I understand what dangerous activity you are doing (kidding!). There are per-packaged awning wraps but a bit of Velco one-wrap does the same thing.

Louisspaid Report post Posted October 29, 2016 I have a Camelot coach. It has Carefree awning. I cut 3/8" pipe insulation in half and push it in the awning arm. Louis
kaypsmith Report post Posted October 30, 2016 Box stores sell a very soft self stick window and door insulation strips that could be applied to the inside of the arm like Louis suggested.
