They live close to the airport, FTW and by looking at the map, I can see that there's a few places around that area. Eagles Resorts RV Storage & RV Park, 4627 Robertson Rd #108, Fort Worth, TX is about 10 minutes from their house. I guess I need to start planning something. ☺️

I bet that you do have some awesome memories and stories from many moments and all of the trips taken so far. For me, I enjoy every now and then to stay put and relax, have some drinks, share some stories with friends and family and reflect on everything that we have done thru the years. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and it recharges the soul so we can plan for the next big adventure, no matter what that might be, cleaning something, fixing something, buying something or just plain taking a brake from it all. Take care my friend and many blessings your way.

Hi Bill, When I bought the MH two years ago, it had Michelins XZE2s and they looked brand new, selling point of previous owner. I did not know better about tire age so I was impressed. The fact is that the tires where 8 years old already and after reading and learning everything I know now about tire age and safety I decided to replace them even though they still look really good. And since they were still in such a great shape I ordered the same tires. Hope to get the money worth out of them. I also bought a steel rim and kept one of the old ones to be used as a spare with the hopes of never having to use it.

Wayne, I'm with you on that, I do love the looks of the snow but that's about it anymore. And I hate all the morons that don't pay attention and think that they can drive the same way they do on a sunny day. It did get to a scorching 41˚ here today with lots of rain so all the white stuff is gone which I'm glad because I was able to schedule my tire appointment for tomorrow morning 10am so the old lady is getting new shoes, yesss.🚍👍

Well, since you ask, I had been waiting for a new set of tires that I had ordered a while ago and the shop finally called me to let me know that they came in, this was a couple of weeks before Christmas. We made an appointment for Mon the 27th of Dec, it was the first day available to me, I just wanted to get them replaced and done with that so I was all exited about it. The week before the appointment I went out and did a quick wash and ran the MH for a little bit when I remembered that some of my marker lights needed to be replaced, I had already ordered them a while ago and was just waiting for good weather to replace them but now I needed to get them done asap. Well, guess what, I did three in the back, top middle section that same day and left the other ones for the next day and as luck would have it, it started snowing that night. Usually when it snows over here, it is gone in a few days at the most so I didn't think anything about it. The next day it kept snowing lightly but I needed to finish the lights so I put on some warm clothes and rain gear and went to battle. It actually wasn't too bad and gave me a feeling of accomplishment. The bad thing was that the snow kept accumulating and the temperature kept going down too, into the twenties and below for the next few days, so I had to call and cancel the darn appointment anyways. Today was the first day with warm temperatures into the forties so with fingers crossed, tomorrow I will call to schedule a new appointment. 🥴

Hey Wayne, it's going to be 43 for our high temp here in Tacoma today with lots of rain, that white stuff will be gone in no time. You should've seen me replacing marker lights with led ones while snowing the other day, I can do anything without fear for the weather anymore, well maybe tornados, I will run away from those like crazy. 🏃♂️

Thank you Bill and yes, planning on doing some local exploration until the weather improves and then will decide.

Happy New Years everybody!!!

Hello everybody and HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hope the new year brings health and happiness your way.Well, today is "my new beginning" for me since it is the new year already, but it is also 20220101, my last day as a member of the US ARMY RESERVE.It has been a long way getting here, originally joined the Army back in Puerto Rico in 1982, 9 years on active duty, 16 years out of the service and then joined the Reserve in 2007. Retired from a city job two years ago today and retiring from the military today too. Also, bought my first motorhome ever two years ago, not knowing anything about it at all, but enjoying every minute that I have spend working and messing around with it. Have been doing a whole bunch of little things to it, just because I have been locked up in my house for the last two years, lol. I do need to replace the tires but it will be done within the next few days. Air bags need to be replaced also but I have not ordered them yet, will try to order and replace them within the next few weeks. My daughter will be here from Poland by the middle of February (she is a member of the WA National Guard) and one of my brothers will be here from Puerto Rico on the 2nd of March.Soooo, I will like to go on a long trip and do some sight seeing and exploring all over as much as possible. Thinking Alaska maybe to start, being that this is provably the closest I will ever be to it before I start heading the other way, I'm in Tacoma, WA. And NO, nothing is for sure here yet, everything is subject to change, just trying to come up with a plan. Will love to hear your thoughts and being that I am no expert here, any advice or suggestions will be immensely appreciated.

It has been a while since last time I posted here so I wanted to do a quick update. I still have the Navigator and it has been running great after a new fuel shut off solenoid and a few fuel filters. I have replaced the house batteries, and had the whole thing serviced, that did hurt, lol, so now I try to do all the work myself with the help of my good friend YouTube 😁. I also removed and replaced the bathroom skylight and did all of the old roof sealer because I could see some bad spots. I resealed it myself but there is a few spots where the fiberglass sheet has delaminated and I don't like it like that, so it will be one of my next projects to do, maybe this summer. I replaced all the shocks in it and a couple of tie rod ends, installed a Safe T Plus and replaced the big muffler with a straight thru stainless one. I also installed a new washer and dryer, a new tap and filter in the kitchen sink and washed all the curtains inside. I have to admit, the darn thing is looking pretty nice. I do need a new set of tires, I have already ordered them too but due to bad weather over here, I had to cancel an appointment to have them replaced this past Monday Dec 27, 2021. Most recently I have been replacing some of the marker lights, did the side ones and the red ones in the back. I still want to replace the air bags, and redo the roof. Take care, God bless and Happy New Years everyone...

I have not checked the tank yet but I will this weekend. Right now I'm waiting for a belt tensioner and new belt that I just ordered a couple of days ago, It's supposed to be here by Friday. I'm thinking about siphoning some of the fuel out of the tank with a hose just to take a look at it and if it looks ok I will take it out around town for a test drive to see how it performs.

Yes Bill, I do feel a lot better now with the turbo issue and I think that slowly I will be able to take care of the fuel issue also. My biggest reward out of all this is to know that there is a lot of nice and knowledgeable people here and that Sir is worth a million. Thanks to you and to all, and have a wonderful labor day too.

I finally got to the turbo unit today Sept 1st and I think I'm happy with what I found. First, this is a 1996 HR but I found a date plate on the turbo with a 2000 date stamped on it so I'm pretty sure that the turbo unit got replaced at some point. I think that the metal chunks that I found where leftover from the previous unit. Next I opened the front and back and could not see anything broken in there. The unit turns freely and there is no play so I'm going to put it back together and hope that everything is ok now. As far as the fuel issue, I'll just have to replace the filters more often for a while and see what happens. The fuel filters that I replaced had a 2015 service date on them and to me that's poor maintenance practice and unacceptable. I have already replaced the house batteries and yes I'm planning on doing a total service to it too. I will post as I take care of the problems, thank you all for the great recommendations and suggestions and take care.

They were pretty bad, I just ordered some Biobor treatment and some more filters, in hopes that it will help getting rid of that nasty stuff, time will tell.

Yes, and I thought that I was getting a good deal on an rv with less than 46000 miles. The guy was a retired firefighter and he said that he took excellent care of it, maybe the outside. Let's hope it doesn't brake the bank before I can enjoy the darn thing. BTW, thanks for all the good advice...

This was how the fuel filters looked like after I opened them up. The small one was pretty bad compared to the large one. I did start the engine after I replaced the fuel filters and the solenoid and it started fine on the second try. There was no smoke and she ran very smooth, the only thing was the rattling in the muffler. That rattling has been there since I bought her, I thought that it was a loose bolt or something else around that area but not inside the muffler. While checking the engine after changing the filters I realized that the rattling was inside the muffler and that's when I decided to take it apart to see. If I do have to replace the turbo unit, any special one better than others, any good upgrades, how much will it set me back?

Thank everyone for your suggestions. I have replaced both of the fuel filters and the fuel shutoff solenoid also. After doing that I noticed a rattling noise inside the muffler so I took it apart and found something that doesn't look good to me Turbo chunks? Do I need to replace turbo also? How hard to do, will I need special tools? Thanks for any advice.
