Can both switches be bad-- the one on the dash and on the generator itself?

Yes I have a friend that has a 7500 onan diesel generator model hdkaj that is not getting any 12 volts to switches. Check the fuses F1 F2 F3 all look to be good. Took out the F1 and F2 at the same time and put back the F2 it started on its on without touching the switch, but was able to turn it off with the rocker switch on the generator itself. It has me stumped is it a switch problem or fuse board that is out? John

Akadeadeye what kind of car are you towing? I would like to tow a Chevy Traverse but it has a 78" tread width and 20" tires

Oh yes we read that in our park pamphlet. They can keep it especially from in here.

Yes the jumper went to relay one and two. Not sure what series it is.

Its a 2006 39F Itasca Meridian

Ok here I go again. We lost our energy management system control board on the 50 amp side. 12 volts still worked unplugged gen set ran and powered up. Had a new board put in now nothing. No 12volt unless plugged in gen starts with motor running dies when main motor is shut off. Another dealer said that the board had to be replace with the same board number that is on the back, The new on is a Interllic model 620 board number 32068 and the original is a model 620 board number 27059. Could that really be the problem? Thanks Again

Thanks Everyone We just got back from Destin Fla and I'm sure we have brought back a little sand home. I have a carpet co coming out today to take care of it. And by the way Camp Gulf is by far the best rv resort I have found.

I didn't know with plywood floor if it was good to get it wet and hot.

In need of cleaning carpets. What method is recommended for the carpets A company like Chem Dry or a steam cleaning company.

Camping World carries that receiver for the KVH 139.00 just had to buy one for our new satellite. The old receiver was not compatible with the new one.

The worst part of it all is that Norcold will not send any spare kits to the dealers, it is by vehicle in numbers only and then ship. So for the folks out on the road they will not have a fridge until a part comes to the dealers, days or weeks away. I'm lucky we had our malfunction now before our Florida trip next Sunday.

We have fridge, the reason the black box would not reset, the heat senor that goes around the burner was open, making the black box go in shut off mode. Thanks for all of yall's help. John

I found the receipt when the first recall kit was done back in 2011 and another one where the box was replace again same year, so looks like this will be the third box replaced since 2011.

Just had a RV tech just leave, the recall kit I had installed was not one that can be reset, so he has one on order from Norcold which does not have the best customer service.

Installed the stabilizer shock in about a hour, I will never own another coach without one of these put on.

Do you do this with all the wires attached, or unplug the black (ground ) the red, or the wire harness?

Ok recall was done, now just like you said the black box light is flashing and fridge is out. Ok so where does the magnet go and is the light suppose to stay on instead of flashing.

Yes we will be heading to Destin Fla in a couple of weeks, looking for the best route and suggestions what road or highways to stay off of. Taking I20 and then down or is I10 better coming out of Dallas. John

Just got a call from the dealer saying our Norcold fridge has a recall for a heat sensor. What will this fix?

Great, thanks just ordered the set up and will be installed next week. I just replaced all the tires and seems like in the wind I have to over steer a lot, So I hope this will help the wear of the front tires from the push. Thanks again John

Has anyone installed a Safety Plus stabilizer shock or the Blue Ox one. Running a Freightliner chassis. It does not have any type on it now, and do they really work? John
