  1. I just left GEICO for AAA. I asked if glass coverage was mandatory in AZ and was told it wasn't. I have a $500.00 deductible for comprehensive so that would be the most out of pocket for me. GEICO was a good company and covered glass, but I wanted my home as well as my vehicles covered by one company.

  2. sangelucci,

Just a thought. The Oxygenics shower head may put a bit more back pressure on the water line than the original shower head. The line may have some small cracks and the problem shows up with more back pressure. A camping friend had a small leak in this line and it drove him nuts until a tech found the leak. A hole had to be cut in the floor to get to the line but was repaired to look good. Again just a thought, but you may want to get both the hot and cold lines checked.

  3. My 2 cents too. I have been like a broken record on this forum about the lack of ISO quality systems at RV manufacturer's production plants. They all use RIVA, but that is really not a quality control system. The least expensive automobile is built to a high quality standard, yet the most expensive motorhome is not....go figure. The problem is we as consumers are not demanding quality from the manufacturers. They sift the burden of fixing many issues to their dealers. The manufacturers could actually save money by building it right the first time and letting the dealers take care of routine maintenance items. Unless we all get involved in this nothing will change. Once dealer salesmen start telling the manufacturers consumers are demanding quality, manufacturers will take notice. Thanks for listening.

  4. I used Rigid Lam from Home Depot cut to 14" squares. It must be ordered through the contractor's desk. The product was 1-3/4" thick by 14" wide. I had it cut to 14" square. Once I got it home I sealed the wood with several coats of colored sealer. The wood pads have been through floods and very dry conditions and they still work great. The cost of the material is $6.89 a foot. Again you must work with the contractor's desk at Home Depot.

  5. Cookie,

Thanks for your reply. I agree 100% with your recommendations. However this incident I was driving into the parking space and was following the park employees direction. I was very concerned about my tail swing as a car was parked close to the road one lot behind me. The park employee was more concerned about a small light rather than guiding me away from the limb. You can be sure that I will always look over the space before I drive or back in.

  6. I guess I am not understanding something here. I just received the latest issue of FMCA magazine. There was an ad for Seven Corners and the trip assist program. Looks like FMCA will coordinate the return of remains, pets, and RV at the owners expense. This is included in your membership. If you want the insurance to pay you still need to pay the premium. Correct?

  7. I purchased a Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW50 wired surge protector with low voltage protection. Lazy Days has wired it in my motorhome. I am now waiting for a new cord reel. The one ordered was the wrong size so another three weeks to get the proper one. I hope to finally get my coach back by the end of August after dropping it off June 18th!!
