  1. Take a good, hard,  look at a Newell or Prevost is set up...Then ask, why don't the coach have a full length guard in back?  You'll also note that the mud flap is stiff and mounted between the Drive Axle & Tag!  Everything that goes to the rear, has to do with turbulence and the less you have, the cleaner the toad.

I tow Wranglers, fixed up to tackle the rigors of what it's designed for to begin with, OFF ROAD & OFF the GRID.  I know where my dings, chips and scratches come from!😂 Re-sale=new paint job!:)

Never have understood, why people buy a Rubicon and never take it off road.

  2. A few things come to mind.  It is a step in the right direction!

Can it be set to traveling weight of coach or is it always the cold psi of sidewall?

Is it programable to the computer system, such as Silverleafe, or do you need another screen?

Can you set your own +/- temperature?

  3. moonwink.  If I'm still able to remember, it was back to front that was critical? Or side to side?  Back then we had no Jacks, just boards to level on. Never had a problem with Dometic!

Having said that...not everyone is as lucky and knowledgeable about the absorption fridge as you are...I'm happy, your happy!  OP has a problem with his fridge and replacing it is an option, perhaps to you, not the perfect solution.  Depending upon the cu. ft. a residential can be way cheaper than his current unit.

I'm glad you have 40 years of coach experience?  I have 54 years, class A's and now on coach #18. My first was a New 1967 Winnebago. I was 24 at the time.

  4. Jim, yes indeed he is!  Not the first time we have gotten the wrong information....We will be on 30 amp and going in as a group with AIM and NIRV!  Lots of fun, food, HH and  a dinner at the Cowboy Restaurant.  Social tents from NIRV, Newmar, Tiffin, Entegra, REV, Freightliner at Rally ground. :) Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is covered.

Herman, one day cancellation (the 12th), does not equal the whole Show!  :P

  5. I have towed Jeep Wranglers, Chevy Colorado's, Silverado 2500 Duramax, Isuzu Trooper...from 1984 to now (Jeep Wrangler 3 inch lift & a 2020 Jeep Gladiator), no damage!  Maybe the side radiator helps on DP?  Don't think so, because I've had rear radiator also along with 4 Gas models!

About 4 years ago on this Forum we had a long post on the pros and cons of mud flaps, cross the back flaps, side/rear radiator...never did come up with a definitive answer! :P
