  1. When you read the regulations, one common word popped up COMMERCIAL. Since RV’s do not fall into that category it’s really a moot point. Now if an axle is physically overloaded, that’s a safety issue! Our last coach fell into that category. I drove that like it was stolen for 7 years. All I did was add air bags to all 4 corners and went with a heavier tire load range. Not too much else you can do but enjoy it.

We just bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and have a flat towing question. It has a 3.5 lift with 35 tires. We're towing with a 2018 Tiffin 33aa with a 360 diesel. Considering the lift and center of gravity is there a chance of Death Wobble with this vehicle. I've been told as long as the tow bar connects level to the toad there shouldn't be a problem. True?

Only if the alignment is out on the Jeep, I.e. lifted and the Caster was not set afterwards. Every Jeep Wrangler we have towed was lifted and not one ever had a death wobble on its own or while in tow. Just make sure your tow bar is level, but that is no different with a Wrangler or any other vehicle.

My pet peeve is dogs not on a leash or tethered.

Forgot about that one, us too!!! That and cleaning up after your pet.

I don’t mind the children as long as they are well behaved and follow the rules and decent etiquette.

When ours were little, As soon as they could read we would make them read the rules. They weren’t allowed to roam freely either. I never wanted to be “that family” with disrespectful kids. When they got older and were allowed to go to activities by themselves many times they would come back because others were out of hand and they didn’t want to be associated with that crowd.
Goes back to, it’s all how you raise them.

  4. Unfortunately this has become “normal etiquette”. Cutting through sites, the list goes on and on. Seems to get worse with the location. We were in Myrtle beach a few years ago, they were turfing campsites with golf carts, sites with campers parked while people were on the beach, driving across peoples patio mats at a high rate of speed. Add alcohol and it gets much worse! Security watched it and shrugged it off.
Sadly its a new world we live in.

  5. You will need to scan the ECM for codes to determine why it’s on. Is the low coolant sensor reconnected, did you disconnect anything else for access?

Monaco (Cummins recommended) uses two engine lights for faults. One lights up WARNING the other Check engine. Warning is a fault with lower concern that won’t strand you. Check engine, may the lord watch over your wallet

  6. Few things with a Sprinter to consider. The weight of the house will affect that rating. If the “frame” was extended after the axle. The MB Sprinter doesn’t have a full frame. They advertise it but it’s literally nothing more that boxed in sheet metal, not what you think when you say “full frame”. Short wheel base can get squirly with a large vehicle behind you. Best bet, call the RV manufacturer. They need to be the one rating it.

I agree with wildbill, every fresh water tank must have a vent/overflow near the top, otherwise the tank will collapse when you empty it with the pump or pump will vacuum-lock.

Agreed. NOW, if it was connected and properly installed during assembly is entirely different. I would take it to a dealer and have it looked at. It might have a plug installed or not connected properly.

I would appreciate advice on the best way to sell my 2005 Monaco RV

    Sorry for your loss!

In the current market, the demand is much higher than the supply. I would put it on consignment as mentioned above. Now comes the tricky part, do you fly out and drive it back or pay a service to pick it up....decisions.... hopefully you can get some photos ahead and send to a dealer to get the ball rolling. I'd even consider calling those dealer options above, they might know how to get it and you wont have to touch it. I would imagine this isn't their first rodeo with respects to a situation like this.
