  1. Wayne, we will be in NO for 1 more day and then heading to Galveston at Stella Mare for 1 week. Will be able to do more investigation of the leak then, for now I am shutting water off and using Fresh water tank.

Bill, do you need to remove floor to get to pipes under BR sink and shower?

  2. Thanks Bill, did that and no leak there. Do you think it could be the hose connection on driver’s side and the valve that fills the fresh water tank?  I assume there is a pipe going from there to the tank and that area would connect to the top of the last two storage bins.

  3. Not dusty now,  it has rained last few days. They ran over the park road today with a tractor and drag to smooth and flatten it. I have the idea that they maintain the interior roads quite well year around. On site resturant was very passable and not terriblely expensive. The road from 10 to park is not the best but no problem driving it. Many high end coaches here, we are the poor country relatives.

  4. Pontchartrain Landings seems to be a good campground, easy to get to off I 10. The road in isn’t in the best of conditions but we made it with ni problems. Gated park on intercostal waterway, roads in park are crushed limestone or seashell. There is a restaurant/bar on site that has good food and casual atmosphere. We are going to explore tomorrow and set to have New Year’s Day supper at Red Fish Grill in the French Quarter.

  5. Ken, I currently use a system similar to what you are describing. I have the Blue Ox system with the Patriot and tow a Grand Cherokee which set up to tow the way you describe. You do plug the Patriot into the tow vehicle in the center console plug but we generally tow 2-3 days without starting the Jeep with no problems. By that time we like to go out to eat and it is easier to unhook. The Patriot is connected to a breakaway cable and there is a monitor by the driver in the MH, if there is a breakaway it will activate the Jeep’s brakes.

  6. We are about ready to start our winter migration which brings up this question? Normally we run generator to have full electric in the coach as we travel, could we turn on inverter and have full electric without the generator as we are driving? I know generator doesn’t burn much fuel but a savings is a savings.

  7. We have found most all Texans to be friendly, just some are richer than most and a little less likely to be as friendly. We do not like high humidity which leaves out Gulf coast and Florida. We know Hill country will be hot but we can deal with that better than Michigan winter.
