Don't go by outer appearance. I thought the same thing after 7 years with Toyo's, but being a full timer thought should replace them. Mentioned to the tire guy almost wasn't going to replace them yet but he asked me to look in the bottom of the treads. Wow, very bad dry rot. I was convinced. Only had 45,000 mils on that set, with never a problem, so thats why continues with new Toyo's which had been highly recommended and saved a ton of $ over Goodyear and Michelin's. My car tires have always been Michelin.
