My friend's RV has a Cummins ISB engine. When starting the engine there is a warning red light on in the dash. Oil is Ok, temp is OK, jacks are OK. Any idea of the possible cause of this warning?

I have to replace the doors rubber seals on my 4 door Norcold fridge. Norcold tells me that they do not sell the seals. I have to buy a complete new door. It seems a nonsense to me. Anyone would know where to find these rubber seals

They will be used as chassis batteries. I know that deep cycles are made for house batteries but if I install deep cycle 750mca will they turn the engine as well as 800ca auto batteries.
-
Could anyone tell me if a deep cycle battery MCA 750 compares to a car battery of 825CA? Will 2 2 deep cycles do as a good job as 2 car batteries? I own an RV with a Cummins 400HP.

Rich, You say that there is a switch that turns on the solenoid. Do you mean the arm that goes up and down. If not which switch are you referring to and where is it. I do not understand why I have power on the wires connecting to the ice maker in the freezer and no power on the wires connecting to the solenoid valve in the outside compartment. Would the be a fuse or some relay that would allow the current to pass or not?

I have a problem with the icemaker on my Norcold fridge. Water does not come to the icemaker. It seems to be an electrical problem. I bypassed the solenoid valve and it works: water goes through. There is no power on the wires to the solenoid valve. There is AC on the plug-in into the freezer. I presume that these AC wires in the freezer provide AC power to the solenoid valve Is there a sensor or some other device that would prevent AC to open the solenoid valve. Temperature in the freezer is below 4 degrees.

I am trying to find compartment door latches for Monaco products. I know I can get them from Monaco, but is there a jobber who would carry them at a cheaper price. A company advertises in Family Motor Coaching magazine that they carry Monaco door latches but, in fact, they don't. I am also looking for a product to remove the 3M mask on my RV. I know that such a product exists but I do not know the brand name. Would anyone ever used such a product ? I am also looking for the grab handle (transparent plastic) on my Holiday Rambler Scepter. Monaco sells only the whole assembly, whereas I only need the plastic handle. Would anyone know of a jobber that would sell that ?

All those I know owning a Tiffin product (including the Zephyr) have a lot of problems. Windows become foggy after a year or two. It seems that the quality of their Windows is low end. Although Tiffin accepts generally to replace them at their cost there is still a great inconvenience for the owners. Water tanks rest on a plywood floor that has to be replaced (obviously water an wood are not good friend for long). Plus a lot of other problems. A friend of mine did not succeed to make a single trip with his Zephyr without being stuck on the road for a few days. He sold it.

Thanks. Will try that.

Would anyone be familiar with nanostation ? This is a wifi signal amplifier. I bought one and can not install it. The supplier does not reply to requests on its website.

A friend of mine owns a 2005 Allegro Bay. Suddenly there was a problem with the rear jacks on the passenger side. That jack became completely loose (it can be moved up and down manually without any restriction). Any idea on the cause of this situation?

2008 Honda Element 4wd Automatic Transmission
astmi replied to kingbiscuit's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I tow an '03 Element and it can be towed 4 wheels down. I know that Honda changed the transmission after 03 for a 5 speed transmission. The new transmission does not allow towing 4 wheels down as per Honda techs and as written in the owner's manual. -
Thanks everyone. It seems there is no miracle solution. I will use elbow grease and patience.

Does anyone have experience with peeling off the 3M protective shield on the front end of an RV? Do I have to peel it off an 1/8 of an inch at a time with my nails or is there a better solution? Thanks for any help.

I am in Hollywood, Florida The antenna is SK 7003, which is sold by Camping World in USA. SO, if sold in US by Camping World, it should work well in USA

I recently bought a new Winegard SK 7003 automatic antenna. I bought it in Canada and according to Winegard advertising it works in Canada, United States and Mexico. I traveled to Florida, USA and have some problems with the antenna. Winegard tells me that these units are not guaranteed to work in USA. This product is sold in US by Camping World and many other distributors. Did anyone ever heard about this? Real surprise to me.

Mechanic changed the fuel and air filters. It seems that the gene could run. But, when I push on the start button to start the gene, the starter goes on immediately, no delay for priming or for the glow plugs to warm up. I have to hold the starter on too long for the gene to start. Nô body found the cause of the problem Any idea?

Would anyone know what is the oil pressure (psi) in the braking system of a 35' RV built on a workhorse chassis ?
