It's likely that the 120 vac is going to a transformer so you would measure only a fraction of an ohm. 2000 ohms would not trip the breaker. More like 5 ohms. Current = Volts/Resistance.

Visible lifted the speed cap quite a while ago. They state that hotspot speed is capped to 5Mb/s but at least for me, that has not been true. They recently started a service called Party Pay that can bring down the monthly rate to $25/month. Visible Party Pay plan I have had their service since last June and it has been working great. I use a cheap mini travel router to connect multiple devices to the hotspot. GL-AR150 available from Amazon from $26.50

You should not use a petroleum based lubricant. Here's a quote from the Winegard manual: LUBRICATION (Done 3-4 times annually) STEP 1: To lubricate the elevating gear, apply a liberal amount of silicone spray lubricant to the elevating gear with the lift in the down position. Run the lift up and down to distribute the lubricant over gears. STEP 2: Two times yearly, or in the event rotating the antenna becomes difficult, normal operation can be restored by lubricating the bearing surface between the rotating gear housing and the base plate. Any silicone lubricant spray may be used. Elevate antenna and remove plastic plug from rotating gear housing as shown. Spray lubricant into hole and around edges of gear housing. Rotate gear housing until lubricant coats bearing surfaces and antenna rotates freely. LUBRICATING RUBBER QUAD RING Lubricate rubber quad ring on elevating shaft which is below worm gear with silicone spray lubricant at least twice yearly. This will keep quad ring from becoming brittle which could result in leaks down elevating shaft.

I'm virtually never plugged in and rely on solar for almost all of my power. I have been using 2 6 volt golf car batteries and haven't had the greatest luck. The most likely problem is getting them back to 100% charge on a routine basis which can cause sulfation. Lithium batteries don't care if they're not fully charged. In fact, if you will not be using them for any length of time you want them at less than 75% charge.

Most likely the panels are configured for 24 volt nominal and the short circuit current (Isc) rating would be 3.84 amps. Set your meter to measure amps. Most multimeters can measure 10 amps. Set a panel out in direct sunlight and connect your meter across the output terminals. Check a bunch of them and save the ones that produce the most current. It appears that these panels can be configured for either 12 or 24 volts. If you set them for 12 volts you could use a cheaper PWM controller. For 24 volt you would have to use a more expensive MPPT controller. An advantage of MPPT is that it is more efficient.
