In my opinion under normal everyday conditions I don't think you need supplemental braking. That being said. with the way people love to jump in front of me then dive of exit. Or the one second I look out the side window to look at this beautiful country and everbody in front of me jumps on there brakes. I think of many times I said thank god I had all the braking I could get. I am sure we all have had emergency stopping situations. There's a couple I am sure would have ended in accidents without toad having braking.

Question, do stations have to advertise what percent of fuel is biodiesel. I checked my local stations and all they say is low sulfur # 2 diesel. I noticed Flying J and Pilot advertise from 5% to 10 % bioblend. Since I recently had algae problems I was wondering if bioblend has anything to do with it. When I am traveling I exclusively use Flying J or Pilot. Carl 2004 American tradition

I'll try Chris McCord at Spartan tomorrow. I really find it hard to understand the thought process of not filtering before lift pump. I use to do a lot of drag racing first thing everybody did was put a fram fuel filter right out of tank. It protected fuel pumps needle and seats well everything from contamination. In my opinion if we're going to run one filter give it to me before lift pump.

Brad just found fuel delivery routing on cummins quickserve. Much to my surprise filter is after lift pump. I am really surprised no filter before lift pump. Would like to know how one could be added.

Will do. Thanks brad. Carl 2004 American tradition

Hi all, here's the update as promised. I got coach back from cummins today. Engine surging and bucking under load turned out to be a clogged lift pump. Couldn't believe my eyes algae in pump was black and looked like tar. They also found rocker box was leaking oil. Replaced pump and resealed rocker box and new valve cover gasket. Came to about $2100 but luckily saved 10% with my cummins power club card. Definitely worth the $19.95. So if your ever in need of cummins service in New Hampshire cummins in concord n.h, on integra dr did a good job. They are very close to loudin n.h. We're NASCAR holds two races a year.

Hi wolfe10. Great advice. The reason I have been changing fuel filters is last week I took coach from n.h. To charlotte Michigan to Spartan for maintenance and inspection. On the way out coach started bucking under load. No engine warning lights. Changed fuel filter and no change . First I should start coach sat with a 1/4 tank a fuel for 2 months with me starting coach once a month but nothing else. Anyway I continued to Spartan and changed fuel filter again and still little improvement. Spartan pulled a code 329 code fuel pump and said see Cummins. Leaving Spartan I put 16 oz bottle of biocide and coach ran almost perfect. I made it home to n.h, and yesterday filled fuel filter with sea foam and ran coach for two minutes then let sea foam sit in fuel system. Test drive coach and almost had no bucking and sometime no bucking up hill at 25 lbs of boost. So that's why I saw metal changing fuel filter yesterday.

Hi all. changed fuel filter today. Drained old filter into clean bucket and tilted bucket so all fuel would accumulate on one side. I noticed metal dust in fuel. I tested metal dust and it was magnetic. If you ever saw the metal dust that accumulates on a oil drain plug that is what this dust looks like. Don't know if it's from fuel stations or my fuel system. Carl and Margaret 2004 American tradition. 40w 2013 Honda CR-V

We bought are dp 3 years ago with 87,000 miles on it from original owner. Coach was garaged when not in use and serviced in Decatur every year. Seller had all warranty and service records. Seller also had many upgrades done over the years. I will also say we looked at many other used coaches and to my surprise they were poorly maintained and in overall poor condition. My thought was they paid so much for these why not take good care of your investment.. Coach now has 110,000 miles on it. Heading to Spartan in November for tires and overall inspection. A running diesel is a happy diesel. carl 2004 American tradition Honda CR-V 2013 n.h.

We have national interstate. With Deminishing deductible. Better price then progressive. Had a claim for windsheild no problem fixed quickly. I have a $100.00 deductible on glass but almost all glass companies eat deductible for the job. Carl and Margaret 2004 American tradition 2013 Honda CR-V n.b.

Any concern how fresh the fuel is in smaller stations. I had water in fuel and went thru a few filters and biocide to clear it up. carl bohne 2004 American tradition 2013 Honda CR-V atkinson nh
