About Me
My wife and I both retired as tier-2 support technicians with GTE/Verizon....I had 38 years with GTE/Verizon as SS7 technical Support on Alcatel & Eagle STPs then went to work for Frontier for 4 years doing the same...my wife worked on GTD5's for most of 36 years and helped technicians nationwide in the central offices to correct simplex network, memory, and processor problems, remotely. We both enjoyed it, but we did work on landlines and customers were bailing quickly, so we both retired. Karen's parents started failing shortly after she retired, and we quickly became their caregivers for 7 years. Karen's mother passed away in Oct of 2015. We had been grieving for a year and a half, and finally came out of the fog. We still miss them both everyday. We have only been travelling for about a year now. First we had a great 2006 Phaeton 40QDH. We sold it after a year and just purchased a 2014 Phaeton 40AH. We love our Tiffins, but are always looking to improve, get great ideas, and travel safely with friends. We had 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild and have tons to see in the US with our 2 Aussies which we afectionately call the psycho brothers! (Tucker & Willie)
