manholt Report post Posted August 10, 2017 Needing some information on, what is the difference if any, between RV Armor and FlexArmor? I have a Fiberglass roof. Rest of coach info is under my name. Carl C.
jleamont Report post Posted August 10, 2017 Carl, I spoke to these folks at Hershey a few years ago (old coach), this was a thick product that was flexible, I can't explain what I saw but was impressed! http://rvroof.com/flexarmor/ The other brand is paper thin from what I have read, basically paint. rfsod48 Report post Posted August 10, 2017 Carl, I am looking at roof treatments also, the RV Armor seems good but I was told to figure $100.00 per foot of coach length. Seem expensive to me. I have been quoted $1800.00 to do the Dicor treatment including removing old sealer, washing roof with Dicor prep and 2 coats of sealant. i really think if I was a few years younger this would be something I could do myself. manholt Report post Posted August 11, 2017 Yeah. From the old school and it worked. Now, we have the new and improve POS stuff, that streaks every 5 years, no matter how much wax you throw at it !
