markandlisav Report post Posted September 16, 2017 Went to turn on my frig and noticed it kept jumping to LP even though I was plugged in to shore power. Hmmm. Opened up the side and saw a blown fuse on the circuit board. Easy enough, popped in another Bussman 5 amp and turned it back on. Boom... another fuse. After some Googling it sounded like my AC heating element was bad or had a short. Replaced the element and seems to be working fine now. My question is how often does the AC element go bad or how easy is it for them to get a short and burn up? Just wondering if I should get another one and have it on hand in case...
