rfsod48 Report post Posted October 11, 2017 What type of rug is recommended for laminated wood flooring? I have been told that certain backings can damage or discolor the flooring..
manholt Report post Posted October 11, 2017 Anything you can find at Wall Mart, I have a couple on my laminated floor in the house...no problems after 10 years! Like any area rug, if you don't clean the rug and the floor under it?! LOL
erniee Report post Posted October 11, 2017 If it is laminate, which is just a picture adhered to mdf, no issue.
Rewillia Report post Posted November 5, 2017 We have both wool and synthetic backed area rugs and use rug pads under each which are fibre and do not stick to or leave evidence of having been used on our tile floors.
markandlisav Report post Posted December 6, 2017 Got a ruggable. Love it. Does not move (great for pets) and is washable (also great for pets)...
Rewillia Report post Posted January 31, 2018 Please be reminded, in the event you have heated floors the use of area rugs in not recommended as they trap heat and can lead to burnout of the floor heating elements.
manholt Report post Posted January 31, 2018 I have one in front between the chairs and it's there to prevent tracking dirt into coach. Whenever I use the floor heat, I roll up the rug! Remember that if you have heated floors, turn it off before you bring in the slides to depart!
