rpstewart Report post Posted February 2, 2018 I have an older motor home that is 30 amp, I'm going to a private campground that only has 50 amp hookup. Is there some sort of adapter I can get to plug my 30 amp cord into a 50 amp outlet?
richard5933 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 This is easy. You can get an adapter like this most anywhere, including many Walmart stores. Shouldn't cost much to get and you should carry one with you since you never know when you'll need it.

I would get at least one other one that goes from 15 amp up to 30 amp. You will run into lots of strange configurations in different RV parks. Bill
kaypsmith Report post Posted February 2, 2018 Be sure that the adapter that you get is 50 amp male to 30 amp female. Both configurations are available, the opposite is made to go from 30 amp campground to 50 amp RV.
